Life
Moved to NT April of 75. I was on the swim team my junior year. Went to NCCC then UB. Didn't care for UB, transfered to Buff State.
I worked in the Grocery biz from summer of 76 until the late eighties. Remember Bell's in Mid City Plaza and Tops on Nash Rd?
After seeing all those infomercials in the mid 80's about getting rich from RealEstate I started to "flip" houses before it was fashionable. Decided to change carrer paths and I took jobs with remodelers and builders from that point.
In 92 I trained as a MSF Motorcycle Rider Insructor and was an active Rider Coach thru the summer of 2004.
Bought a house on Deerfield Dr the fall of 2000. It of course was a fixer-upper. Put in a water garden the spring of 02. Met my wife the summer of 2002, got engaged in 03 and we married in July of 04. I took my time to find the right woman. We lived in my home on Deerfield.

2006 when we moved to Fredericksburg VA so I could take a Manager's job with a National Framing contractor. We catered to the large National Home builders and our parent company was the 3rd largest Building Materials supplier in the country.
Fall of 07 the construction industry was taking a hard hit and our company started massive layoffs. I was a casualty and eventually in 09 BMHC declared bankruptcy.
Nov 08 I started working for the local Electric Coop as an Energy Mangement Advisor. I work with our customers helping them become more energy efficient. I also help diagnose the causes of high usage. Most homes here use heat pumps and on the colder days these can use a lot of energy, especially if they are not operating properly.
I was trained and certified as a HERS rater April 09. Through the Coop, I work with builders in the ENERGY STAR, Builders Challenge and Earth Craft House Va. New Home energy efficiency programs.
